DAY 1.
San Salvador City Tour and visit to El Boquerón National Park;
We will pick you up at your hotel or airport to visit the historical center of San Salvador, this experience is about walking along the main streets of downtown, visiting the many important sites such as: The Main Cathedral, the National Palace, El Rosario Church also the main squares. In the afternoon we will visit The National Park “El Boquerón” also knows as San Salvador Volcano, this beautiful place is where you will enjoy an spectacular view of the crater of the volcano and also the best view of the city from an altitude of 1,893 meters above sea level. For lunch we´ll stop to have some Pupusas (this is our national dish). At the end of the day we will drop you off at your hotel to have the rest of the day off.
DAY 2.
Cerro Verde or Santa Ana Volcano Hike and Lunch at the Coatepeque Lake;
Our guide and driver will pick you up at 8:30 a.m. at your hotel to drive to the National park Cerro Verde , here you will be able to enjoy the nice weather with the perfect view od the Izalco and Santa Ana Volcano, in our way to this magic place we will make some stops to enjoy the view of the Coatepeque Lake. if you are adventurous, there is the option to hike the Santa Ana volcano, where you are able to see the crater, which has a sulfur lake with an spectacular color, the hike is around 4 hours round trip. At the end of the day we will have a great lunch at the Coatepeque Lake also there is the opportunity to swim and relax by the lake. At the end of the day the guide and driver will drop you off you’re at the hotel.
Día 3.
Ruta Maya is a tour that shows that El Salvador is also part of Mesoamerica, and there are important archaeological sites steeped in history. Among the most important places to visit are the ruins of Tazumal Chalchuapa, San Andrés and Joya de Ceren, this one is a hidden indigena city hundred 14 layers of volcanic ash from the active volcanic activity in the country. Día 4. Ruta de Las Flores Tour , Nahuizalco, Juayua, Ataco and Café Entre Nubes
Our guide and driver will pick you up at 8:30 a.m. at your hotel to drive to the west side of the country to visit the “Route of the flowers”. Ruta de Las Flores is a fascinating journey over Apaneca mountain range. A long this tour we will visit some small village with indigenous backgrounds, a lot of traditions, delicious food, coffee meals, waterfalls, an enjoyable weather and more.
The trip begins in Nahuizalco, a town with a lot of indigenous Backgrounds, few kilometers above the mountains we stop in Juayua, There we will visit a beautiful waterfalls known as: Los Chorros de la Calera, then we continue in Apaneca, There we will stop for a coffee tasting at Entre Nubes farm. Following the route, we will find Ataco, a colorful town that still preserves its cobblestone streets. At the end of the day we will drop you off at your hotel or airport.
